FileDue helps freelancers get paid before handing over their final files.
If you've ever finished a project, sent the deliverables, issued the invoice, and then waited days or weeks for payment, you already understand the problem FileDue solves.
Instead of attaching files to an email and hoping the invoice gets paid, upload your deliverables to FileDue, set a price, and share a single link. Your client opens the link, reviews protected previews of the work, pays securely through Stripe, and the original files unlock automatically.
Protected previews are at the core of the workflow. Clients can verify that the work is complete before paying, while freelancers keep control of the final deliverables until payment is confirmed. Images, videos, and documents are shown as watermarked previews that are useful for review but not for professional use.
FileDue supports virtually any digital deliverable, including design files, video exports, photo galleries, source code archives, documents, audio files, and RAW photography. Deliveries can contain up to 500 files with a total size of up to 5GB.
Payments are processed through Stripe and go directly to the freelancer's connected Stripe account. Clients can pay using cards and other Stripe-supported payment methods without creating an account.
FileDue is built for designers, developers, photographers, video editors, writers, translators, consultants, and small agencies that regularly deliver digital work to clients.
Key benefits:
• Get paid before releasing final files
• Eliminate invoice chasing and awkward payment follow-ups
• Let clients review work safely before payment
• Deliver large projects through a single link
• No client account required
• Direct Stripe payouts
• No subscription or monthly fees
Pricing is simple. The first three paid deliveries are free. After that, FileDue charges 2% per successful transaction. If your client never pays, you pay nothing.
FileDue is focused on doing one thing exceptionally well: turning digital file delivery into a simple, secure payment step instead of a collection problem.
